We believe that sport develops the “whole person” and is a key component in building pupils’ self-esteem, confidence and attainment whilst contributing to a healthy lifestyle.
Our children have two timetabled sessions of PE / sport each week, enhanced by a robust and varied programme of extra-curricular sporting activity.
An enthusiastic and committed staff plus qualified sports and dance specialists ensure our children get the very best teaching and coaching.
Competitive sport is viewed as part of our broad curriculum. All children are encouraged to take part in some form of competition and all KS2 children participate in both intra-school and inter-school sports fixtures, tournaments and competitions.
We encourage our children to develop sports leadership skills and we are committed to helping them maintain healthy, active lifestyles.
Our PE and Sports programme is very important to us and we see it as central to our school ethos and success.
