We went out in groups to explore our environment and look for signs of winter. We saw that most of the trees had no leaves at all, but noticed that there were a few bushes that were full of berries. We decided that God has left the berries so that the birds aren’t hungry in Winter! We saw that some of the daffodils have started to shoot but it’s still far too cold for the flowers to emerge, but the snowdrops have fully opened. Today we talked about how the birds don’t have much to eat in the Winter so we made some different bird feeders to hang around outside the Pre-school.
