Year 5 -River Walk-Geography
Year 5 are studying RIVERS in Geography this term.
As the weather today was so beautiful, we thought we would walk down to the River Calder in Ightenhill.
Locally the stretch over the river is known as the Stepping Stones although there is a bridge there now. The children were able to identify many river features as well as enjoying the sunshine. (They even got a treat from Mrs Robinson's mum on the way back!)
