On Monday 12^th June, Year 4 went to the Harris Museum in Preston to take part in two workshops on Greek Myths and Sculpture.

First, we acted out a short Greek Myth. We had to solve some mysteries which would tell us more about the story. We went around the museum looking for scrolls and clues. We drew pictures of mythical creatures and designed a pot that had a potion to help us defeat our monster. We also learnt about Greek money.

After lunch, we went to look at some sculptures. We learnt how to make a bronze statue and had to sketch pictures of some in the museum. After that, we went into a room and made some clay models.

We all enjoyed this trip and we thought it was very fun.
