During our Maths topic on position and direction the children in Year 1 had to direct their partner to place a bean bag in the right colour hoop.  It was a challenge as their partner was blindfolded, however all the children did really well using mathematical language such as:-  Forwards, backwards, left,  right, 1/2 turn, 1/4 turn.  They really enjoyed it!
