Reception children planned their own role play area based on the story, ‘The Three Little Pigs’. Each child thought about an idea they wanted to add to the three bears house then they wrote it on the planning sheet!

We took full advantage of the little bit of sunshine we have had this week and accessed our very muddy mud kitchen. Each child was wrapped up in waterproofs and wellies ready to explore and investigate on our field area.

The children and parents enjoyed our phonics based stay and play session. Mummies and Daddies worked hard writing words and sentences.

Reception has enjoyed our traditional tale topic, especially the ‘Gingerbread Man’ story. We baked our own gingerbread men and we walked to the local bakery to buy a gingerbread man. We decided that both biscuits tasted yummy!
