What We've Been Up To
Hello and welcome to our second blog.
On Wednesday and Thursday (the 21st and the 22nd of February) years 5 and 6 had their ESB exam ๐. Year 6 went first, and we were all very nervous but the examiner (Emma) made us all feel comfortable and after that, we were ready and raring to go! Year 5 had their exam in the afternoon and also all day on Thursday. We were all very happy to find out that every single one of us got a distinction which is the highest mark you can get!
Years 3 and 4 are having their poetry vanguard exam๐ towards the end of March and everybody wishes them the best of luck.
Year 4 also had a very intense football โฝ match and a very muddy one too. Despite the circumstances, our school won 9-4! In Junior Games Club we were working on our speed-stacking, which involves special cups stacked in a specific order, and it was really hard but after lots of practice and hard work, we all got really good scores.
Year 3 also presented a wonderful assembly on the British Values and now everybody knows what they mean and how they keep us safe!
We also have a new polytunnel for the whole school to use in their forest school lessons. This is very exciting for all of us.
All throughout this week - 4th until 8th of March - we are selling Wonka Bars๐ซ. In five of them, there is a golden ticket which when you return it to the office you get a prize. All donations go to the PTA fund. Also on Thursday we dressed up as our favourite book characters.๐ง There was one winner from each class. Well done to everybody who took part.
Fun Fact: Octopus have three hearts.๐
