A New Pair of Bloggers!

Hello and welcome to our first-ever blog!

This is Fatimah and Poppy, your average Year 6 pupils. If average means cool and awesome (as well as hard-working). We are already three terms into the year and boy has it been hectic.

We have many jobs such as: Sport leaders and sports crew, Faith Ambassadors, Music monitors, prefects and Pupil bloggers (that’s us!) and many more.

In September, Year 6 chose their seeds and we are having lots of fun watching them learn and blossom. We listen to them read and we help them during forest school sessions.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have had a very exciting school curriculum! On the first week back from the Christmas holidays the whole school - including nursery- had an amazing trip. We went to watch the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. Everyone had a fabulous time there!

On Thursday, Years 5 and 6 did a fantastic bike ability course🚲. We did a course on the first day to see if we were safe enough to go on the road. Then on the next day the people who were safe enough got to ride on the road. Overall we had a fantastic time!

That’s all for now, see in a fortnight.

Fun fact: Elephants are the only land mammals that can’t jump 🐘.
