In Year 3, to link in with our Geography topic ‘Our European Neighbours,’ we have been learning about great European artists, architects and designers in history.  

Here we have been leaning about the Artist Anselm Kiefer.  We have been improving our mastery of art and design techniques, in the context of pencil drawing.

We have looked at photos of damaged buildings and produced detailed drawings which showed that we had looked many times at the pictures and included features of the buildings.  We evaluated our sketches and then improved them further by cross hatching and shading.
