Fire fighters 'Peter and Faz' came to discuss staying safe at home. The children dressed-up and role played a scenario about a house fire, poor Jingles the cat got left behind, but the brave fire-fighters came to the rescue!
Peter talked to the children about the dangers of playing with matches at home and showed the different items in the home which are dangerous. Peter and Faz were fantastic and we all had a super time.
Joanne from the Oral Hygienists team came to talk to the children about oral health, she showed them how to brush their teeth and look after their gums and about eating healthy foods.
PC David and WPC Jo visited the children in Nursery this week. They spoke to the children about 'stranger danger' and encouraged them to say 'NO, go away' to stangers. The children tried on their uniforms and had a look at the police car.
This week Nursery children went to the library on the Bus!! Mrs James showed us around the Library. She helped us choose a book and read a story to us.
