St Joseph's made history when , for the first time ever, they entertained Westholme School Blackburn, two games begin played. It is hoped this will become an annual fixture.

St Joseph's began strongly and went to an early lead via a Jake Townsend goal. However, the visitors equaliser was somewhat fortunate when a back header found the home net. As the game progressed Westholme looked the stronger and more determined side. Two further goals by the visitors gave a final score of St Joseph's 1 - Westholme 3.
St Joseph's B 0 - Westholme B 5
Playing their first game the B team gave a creditable performance despite losing 5-0 to a stronger and older Westholme side. The team never gave up and the score would have been even more emphatic but for a fine display in the goal by Tiegan Etherington.
