On Monday 8th October the children from Years 4, 5 & 6 visited Towneley Hall to participate in the national Big Draw event, which has more than 1000 venues offering opportunities to both adults and children.

The children were involved in creating a very, very long frieze of chalk drawn roses to decorate Towneley.  They were then encouraged to use their observational skills to draw a postcard of an interesting aspect of the hall or garden.

The children all enjoyed their 'artistic' morning, despite returning to school covered in chalk dust!!
