YEAR 2 FLEETWOOD MUSEUM

Year 2 had a great time in Fleetwood.  We visited the Museum and learned lots about Seaside Holidays in the past.

  • We made a clay picture by pressing in coloured pebbles.  Our Victorian teacher was strict but kind.  We all helped.
  • We learned about what people did at the seaside and the clothes they wore and we dressed up!  Don't we look smart?
  • Then we 'visited' a Boarding House and saw what it looked like and the sorts of toys the children might have played with on a rainy day indoors.
  • Our last workshop was all about steam!  The Victorians travelled to the Seaside on Stream Trains.
  • We finished our visit with a Punch and Judy show!  What a lot of shouting!

We had lunch at the seaside and played games and of course - we had an ice-cream!

Didn't we have a lovely day, the day we went to Fleetwood! ~ and we learned a lot too!!
