On Monday, year 5 and 6 went to visit Ghausia Masjid Mosque in Burnley. Imam Abdul-Rahman very kindly showed us around the Mosque and explained all about Islam and the religious beliefs and customs Muslims observe. We found out about all the community outreach work undertaken at the Mosque and discussed the similarities and differences between the Catholic faith and Islam. Staff and children found it very interesting. So interesting, in fact, that we forgot to take photos!
