Reading Level (2and3+) Ginn and new words in their Word Book. Sounds a-z and ch,sh,wh,oo,ee.  Spelling simple cvc words eg. Cat, Mat.  Reading Traditional tales and Rhymes.  Writing their full name and 'having a go' at independent writing.  

Mathematical Development

Writing numerals to 10 and 20.  Revision on addition and subtraction.  Counting objects 10-20 +.  Measuring and using data.  Using money in the shop.  Naming 2D and 3d Shapes.  Creating patterns.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World

Summer Theme.  Pirates and stories.  Growing plants - beans and sunflowers.  Food and healthy eating and healthy lunch boxes.

Clay tiles.  Patterns.  Collage work.

Physical Development
